South Bend, Indiana - September 7, 2005 - PentaVision Communications, Inc. is releasing a new video entitled “Stories of Notre Dame – A Unique Look at Our Lady’s Campus.” The video will be sold exclusively at the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore and through their website at www.ndcatalog.com. It will be available September 15th.
“Stories of Notre Dame” takes viewers on an intimate tour of campus focusing on the history and mystique of some of the university’s most-loved landmarks and features, including the log chapel, the main building, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, and the grotto.
There are also features on residence life at Notre Dame, the numerous chapels, behind the scenes game day preparation at Notre Dame Stadium, and a beautiful journey through the four seasons at Notre Dame. The tour comes to life with interviews of many well known members of the Notre Dame community including, President Emeritus Father Edward “Monk” Malloy and President Emeritus Father Theodore Hesburgh, as they relate personal stories of the heartfelt impact of this beautiful campus.
According to PentaVision President, Ryan Geist, “This project became somewhat a ‘labor of love’ with countless hours of video shot over the last two years. Much of the footage includes rarely seen hidden treasures and often over-looked features of campus, including a look at the Carillon Bells of the basilica and an inside look of the major renovations of the Main Building.”
Jon O’Sullivan, a 1978 Notre Dame graduate and founding partner of PentaVision Communications, assisted in the production of the video, along with fellow Notre Dame alumnus Mike Schmeidler.
