Notre Dame Video Receives National Recognition


South Bend, Indiana - April 18, 2006 - The 27th Annual National Telly Awards has announced that PentaVision Communications has received a Bronze Telly Award for Outstanding Achievement for “Stories of Notre Dame – A Unique Look at Our Lady’s Campus”.

The DVD takes viewers on an intimate tour of the University focusing on the treasured history and mystique of the school. Featured are the landmark log chapel, the main building, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the grotto, as well as life at Notre Dame—including a unique look at game day preparation at Notre Dame Stadium. The DVD features in depth interviews with members of the Notre Dame community including President Emeritus Father Edward “Monk” Malloy and President Emeritus Father Theodore Hesburgh. Both men share heart-warming and personal stories of the impact the university has had on their lives. “Much of the footage includes rarely seen hidden treasures and often over-looked features of campus,” said Ryan Geist, President of PentaVision Communications. “This project became a labor of love over the last two years.”

The Telly Awards are prestigious awards for the most outstanding local and regional television programs as well as exceptional video and film productions. Out of over 12,000 entries only a small percentage receives the esteemed Bronze Telly representing excellence in the field.
