Intern Projects

PentaVision prides itself on a successful and hands-on intern program. We feel that learning is best done by doing and that is best exemplified by allowing the interns to produce their own video program for local not-for-profit organizations. Some of the work is highlighted, including an award-winning program for the Robinson Community Learning Center.

Dismas House Dismas House is a nonprofit organization providing transitional housing and support services to men and women who have been recently released from prison or jail. Dismas provides a unique form of crime prevention by working with at risk individuals to integrate them with community volunteers, college students, and staff. This video will be utilized as a marketing and development resource for the staff.

Food Bank of Northern Indiana The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is a certified member of Feeding America, a national network of over 200 food banks. Since its inception, it has distributed over 40 million pounds of food worth a wholesale value in excess of $30,000,000. The Food Bank relies on fees paid by member agencies, grants, and donations from individuals. This video will help market the great need for donations, now more than ever.

Robinson Community Learning Center The Robinson Community Learning Center (RCLC) was started in 2001 as an off-campus educational initiative of the President’s Office at the University of Notre Dame in partnership with Northeast Neighborhood residents of South Bend. An estimated 500 participants come through the doors of the Center each week for regular programming. The Center also partners with the juvenile court and community schools in the Michiana area, with program outreach that connects with nearly 8,000 additional youth per year. This level of outreach is only possible due to strong and intentional relationships with community partners and the shared resources of the University and community. This multi-chaptered DVD tells the story of RCLC and its programs.
